These are early Defender projects which provided a base for experimentation. They do not represent the standards of outlander, but they do tell a story and show where outlander came from. Some of these projects date back almost 20 years.

In addition to the Defenders are other cars which have been privately owned and provided inspiration and motivation. It has always been a firm belief of outlander that Land Rover myopia can be avoided by enjoying other cars and learning from them.
